Who we are
KennedyTech is the “data controller” for the information described here. We're based in Scotland and run by Sean Kennedy. Contact: sean@kennedytech.co.uk. We're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number [ICO registration number].
Information we collect
When you contact us. If you fill in our contact form or email us, we collect your name, business name, phone number, email address and the message you send. We also use a hidden field to catch spam bots.
Business information for our postal mailings. We use publicly available information about newly registered UK limited companies from Companies House - such as the company name, registered office address, director names and incorporation date - to send occasional printed letters introducing our service to businesses that may need a website.
How we use your information, and why
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to provide our services - to take steps to enter into and perform a contract with you.
- To send printed marketing letters to limited companies - our legitimate interest in offering a relevant service to newly formed businesses. Every letter identifies us clearly and tells you how to opt out. We only send postal marketing to limited companies (not to sole traders or individuals), and we check the Corporate Telephone Preference Service before making any call.
- To keep our own business records and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
- Our email provider (Resend), which delivers your enquiry to our inbox when you get in touch.
- Our website hosting provider (Vercel), which serves the website and runs the contact form.
We never sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, if you become a client, for as long as you're a client plus a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Marketing records are kept only as long as needed for that purpose. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it (including opting out of marketing). To exercise any of these, email sean@kennedytech.co.uk and we'll sort it.

Don't want to hear from us? Just email sean@kennedytech.co.uk and we'll remove you from our mailing list straight away.
Cookies and analytics
